How To Uninstall libuuid1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libuuid1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libuuid1

linuxUniversally Unique ID librarylibs2.29.2-1
sudo apt-get remove libuuid1

This will remove just the libuuid1 package itself.

Uninstall libuuid1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libuuid1

This will remove the libuuid1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libuuid1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libuuid1

Or similarly, like this libuuid1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libuuid1
