How To Uninstall libxfont2 On Debian 9

To uninstall libxfont2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libxfont2

X11 font rasterisation libraryDebian 9.0libs1:2.0.1-3
sudo apt-get remove libxfont2

This will remove just the libxfont2 package itself.

Uninstall libxfont2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libxfont2

This will remove the libxfont2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libxfont2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libxfont2

Or similarly, like this libxfont2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libxfont2
