How To Uninstall libxml-libxml-perl On Debian 9

To uninstall libxml-libxml-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libxml-libxml-perl

Perl interface to the libxml2 libraryDebian 9.0perl2.0128+dfsg-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libxml-libxml-perl

This will remove just the libxml-libxml-perl package itself.

Uninstall libxml-libxml-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libxml-libxml-perl

This will remove the libxml-libxml-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libxml-libxml-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libxml-libxml-perl

Or similarly, like this libxml-libxml-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libxml-libxml-perl
