How To Uninstall madison-lite On Debian 9

To uninstall madison-lite just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just madison-lite

display versions of Debian packages in an archiveDebian 9.0admin0.22
sudo apt-get remove madison-lite

This will remove just the madison-lite package itself.

Uninstall madison-lite and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove madison-lite

This will remove the madison-lite package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for madison-lite then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge madison-lite

Or similarly, like this madison-lite

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove madison-lite
