How To Uninstall mailutils-guile On Debian 9

To uninstall mailutils-guile just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mailutils-guile

GNU mailutils Guile interpreter and modulesDebian 9.0mail1:3.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mailutils-guile

This will remove just the mailutils-guile package itself.

Uninstall mailutils-guile and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mailutils-guile

This will remove the mailutils-guile package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mailutils-guile then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mailutils-guile

Or similarly, like this mailutils-guile

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mailutils-guile
