How To Uninstall makebootfat On Debian 9

To uninstall makebootfat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just makebootfat

Utility to create a bootable FAT filesystemDebian 9.0utils1.4-5.1
sudo apt-get remove makebootfat

This will remove just the makebootfat package itself.

Uninstall makebootfat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove makebootfat

This will remove the makebootfat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for makebootfat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge makebootfat

Or similarly, like this makebootfat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove makebootfat
