How To Uninstall mandos On Debian 9

To uninstall mandos just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mandos

server giving encrypted passwords to Mandos clientsDebian 9.0admin1.7.15-1
sudo apt-get remove mandos

This will remove just the mandos package itself.

Uninstall mandos and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mandos

This will remove the mandos package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mandos then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mandos

Or similarly, like this mandos

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mandos
