How To Uninstall mapsembler2 On Debian 9

To uninstall mapsembler2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mapsembler2

bioinformatics targeted assembly softwareDebian 9.0science2.2.3+dfsg-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove mapsembler2

This will remove just the mapsembler2 package itself.

Uninstall mapsembler2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mapsembler2

This will remove the mapsembler2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mapsembler2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mapsembler2

Or similarly, like this mapsembler2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mapsembler2
