How To Uninstall maradns On Debian 9

To uninstall maradns just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maradns

simple security-focused authoritative Domain Name Service serverDebian 9.0net2.0.13-1.2+b1
sudo apt-get remove maradns

This will remove just the maradns package itself.

Uninstall maradns and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maradns

This will remove the maradns package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maradns then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maradns

Or similarly, like this maradns

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maradns
