How To Uninstall mate-user-share On Debian 9

To uninstall mate-user-share just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mate-user-share

User level public file sharing via WebDAV or ObexFTPDebian 9.0x111.16.0-1
sudo apt-get remove mate-user-share

This will remove just the mate-user-share package itself.

Uninstall mate-user-share and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mate-user-share

This will remove the mate-user-share package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mate-user-share then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mate-user-share

Or similarly, like this mate-user-share

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mate-user-share
