How To Uninstall matlab-support-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall matlab-support-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just matlab-support-dev

helpers for packages building MATLAB toolboxesDebian 9.0devel0.0.21
sudo apt-get remove matlab-support-dev

This will remove just the matlab-support-dev package itself.

Uninstall matlab-support-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove matlab-support-dev

This will remove the matlab-support-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for matlab-support-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge matlab-support-dev

Or similarly, like this matlab-support-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove matlab-support-dev
