How To Uninstall matlab2tikz On Debian 9

To uninstall matlab2tikz just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just matlab2tikz

converter of Octave plots to TikZ figures (for integration into LaTeX)Debian 9.0math1.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove matlab2tikz

This will remove just the matlab2tikz package itself.

Uninstall matlab2tikz and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove matlab2tikz

This will remove the matlab2tikz package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for matlab2tikz then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge matlab2tikz

Or similarly, like this matlab2tikz

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove matlab2tikz
