To uninstall maven-repo-helper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maven-repo-helper

Helper tools for including Maven metadata in Debian packagesDebian 9.0java1.9.2
sudo apt-get remove maven-repo-helper

This will remove just the maven-repo-helper package itself.

Uninstall maven-repo-helper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maven-repo-helper

This will remove the maven-repo-helper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maven-repo-helper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maven-repo-helper

Or similarly, like this maven-repo-helper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maven-repo-helper
