How To Uninstall mercurial-nested On Debian 9

To uninstall mercurial-nested just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mercurial-nested

Mercurial extension to work with nested repositoriesDebian 9.0vcs0.8-1
sudo apt-get remove mercurial-nested

This will remove just the mercurial-nested package itself.

Uninstall mercurial-nested and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mercurial-nested

This will remove the mercurial-nested package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mercurial-nested then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mercurial-nested

Or similarly, like this mercurial-nested

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mercurial-nested
