How To Uninstall mergerfs On Debian 9

To uninstall mergerfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mergerfs

another FUSE union filesystemDebian 9.0utils2.18.0-1
sudo apt-get remove mergerfs

This will remove just the mergerfs package itself.

Uninstall mergerfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mergerfs

This will remove the mergerfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mergerfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mergerfs

Or similarly, like this mergerfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mergerfs
