How To Uninstall metaphlan2-data On Debian 9

To uninstall metaphlan2-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just metaphlan2-data

data package for Metagenomic Phylogenetic AnalysisDebian 9.0science2.6.0+ds-2
sudo apt-get remove metaphlan2-data

This will remove just the metaphlan2-data package itself.

Uninstall metaphlan2-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove metaphlan2-data

This will remove the metaphlan2-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for metaphlan2-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge metaphlan2-data

Or similarly, like this metaphlan2-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove metaphlan2-data
