How To Uninstall mit-scheme-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall mit-scheme-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mit-scheme-dbg

MIT/GNU Scheme debugging filesDebian 9.0debug9.1.1-5+b2
sudo apt-get remove mit-scheme-dbg

This will remove just the mit-scheme-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mit-scheme-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mit-scheme-dbg

This will remove the mit-scheme-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mit-scheme-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mit-scheme-dbg

Or similarly, like this mit-scheme-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mit-scheme-dbg
