How To Uninstall mkgmap-splitter On Debian 9

To uninstall mkgmap-splitter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mkgmap-splitter

Tile splitter for mkgmapDebian 9.0utils0.0.0+svn548-1
sudo apt-get remove mkgmap-splitter

This will remove just the mkgmap-splitter package itself.

Uninstall mkgmap-splitter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mkgmap-splitter

This will remove the mkgmap-splitter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mkgmap-splitter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mkgmap-splitter

Or similarly, like this mkgmap-splitter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mkgmap-splitter
