How To Uninstall mksh On Debian 9

To uninstall mksh just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mksh

MirBSD Korn ShellDebian 9.0shells54-2+b4
sudo apt-get remove mksh

This will remove just the mksh package itself.

Uninstall mksh and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mksh

This will remove the mksh package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mksh then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mksh

Or similarly, like this mksh

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mksh
