How To Uninstall mlock On Debian 9

To uninstall mlock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mlock

mailbox locking programDebian 9.0mail8:2007f~dfsg-5
sudo apt-get remove mlock

This will remove just the mlock package itself.

Uninstall mlock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mlock

This will remove the mlock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mlock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mlock

Or similarly, like this mlock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mlock
