How To Uninstall mono-complete On Debian 9

To uninstall mono-complete just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-complete

complete Mono runtime, development tools and all librariesDebian 9.0cli-mono4.6.2.7+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove mono-complete

This will remove just the mono-complete package itself.

Uninstall mono-complete and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-complete

This will remove the mono-complete package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-complete then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-complete

Or similarly, like this mono-complete

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-complete
