How To Uninstall mono-jay On Debian 9

To uninstall mono-jay just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-jay

LALR(1) parser generator oriented to Java/CLIDebian 9.0cli-mono4.6.2.7+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove mono-jay

This will remove just the mono-jay package itself.

Uninstall mono-jay and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-jay

This will remove the mono-jay package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-jay then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-jay

Or similarly, like this mono-jay

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-jay
