How To Uninstall mono-tools-devel On Debian 9

To uninstall mono-tools-devel just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-tools-devel

Various development tools for monoDebian 9.0cli-mono4.2-2
sudo apt-get remove mono-tools-devel

This will remove just the mono-tools-devel package itself.

Uninstall mono-tools-devel and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-tools-devel

This will remove the mono-tools-devel package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-tools-devel then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-tools-devel

Or similarly, like this mono-tools-devel

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-tools-devel
