How To Uninstall mono-vbnc On Debian 9

To uninstall mono-vbnc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-vbnc

Mono Visual Basic Compiler (VB.NET)Debian 9.0cli-mono4.0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mono-vbnc

This will remove just the mono-vbnc package itself.

Uninstall mono-vbnc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-vbnc

This will remove the mono-vbnc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-vbnc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-vbnc

Or similarly, like this mono-vbnc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-vbnc
