How To Uninstall mppenc On Debian 9

To uninstall mppenc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mppenc

Musepack lossy audio codec encoderDebian 9.0sound1.16-1.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove mppenc

This will remove just the mppenc package itself.

Uninstall mppenc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mppenc

This will remove the mppenc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mppenc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mppenc

Or similarly, like this mppenc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mppenc
