How To Uninstall msort On Debian 9

To uninstall msort just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just msort

utility for sorting records in complex waysDebian 9.0utils8.53-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove msort

This will remove just the msort package itself.

Uninstall msort and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove msort

This will remove the msort package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for msort then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge msort

Or similarly, like this msort

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove msort
