How To Uninstall msp430mcu On Debian 9

To uninstall msp430mcu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just msp430mcu

Spec files, headers and linker scripts for TI's MSP430 targetsDebian 9.0devel20120406-2
sudo apt-get remove msp430mcu

This will remove just the msp430mcu package itself.

Uninstall msp430mcu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove msp430mcu

This will remove the msp430mcu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for msp430mcu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge msp430mcu

Or similarly, like this msp430mcu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove msp430mcu
