How To Uninstall multipath-tools-boot On Debian 9

To uninstall multipath-tools-boot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multipath-tools-boot

Support booting from multipath devicesDebian 9.0admin0.6.4-5
sudo apt-get remove multipath-tools-boot

This will remove just the multipath-tools-boot package itself.

Uninstall multipath-tools-boot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multipath-tools-boot

This will remove the multipath-tools-boot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multipath-tools-boot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multipath-tools-boot

Or similarly, like this multipath-tools-boot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multipath-tools-boot
