How To Uninstall mumble On Debian 9

To uninstall mumble just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mumble

Low latency encrypted VoIP clientDebian 9.0sound1.2.18-1
sudo apt-get remove mumble

This will remove just the mumble package itself.

Uninstall mumble and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mumble

This will remove the mumble package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mumble then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mumble

Or similarly, like this mumble

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mumble
