How To Uninstall mumps-test On Debian 9

To uninstall mumps-test just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mumps-test

Example/test binaries using MUMPSDebian 9.0math4.10.0.dfsg-4+b2
sudo apt-get remove mumps-test

This will remove just the mumps-test package itself.

Uninstall mumps-test and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mumps-test

This will remove the mumps-test package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mumps-test then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mumps-test

Or similarly, like this mumps-test

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mumps-test
