How To Uninstall mylvmbackup On Debian 9

To uninstall mylvmbackup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mylvmbackup

quickly creating backups of MySQL server's data filesDebian 9.0misc0.15-1.1
sudo apt-get remove mylvmbackup

This will remove just the mylvmbackup package itself.

Uninstall mylvmbackup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mylvmbackup

This will remove the mylvmbackup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mylvmbackup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mylvmbackup

Or similarly, like this mylvmbackup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mylvmbackup
