How To Uninstall myspell-sw On Debian 9

To uninstall myspell-sw just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just myspell-sw

Swahili dictionary for hunspell - dummy transitional packageDebian 9.0text1:5.2.5-1
sudo apt-get remove myspell-sw

This will remove just the myspell-sw package itself.

Uninstall myspell-sw and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove myspell-sw

This will remove the myspell-sw package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for myspell-sw then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge myspell-sw

Or similarly, like this myspell-sw

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove myspell-sw
