How To Uninstall mysqltcl On Debian 9

To uninstall mysqltcl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mysqltcl

interface to the MySQL database for the Tcl languageDebian 9.0database3.052-2
sudo apt-get remove mysqltcl

This will remove just the mysqltcl package itself.

Uninstall mysqltcl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mysqltcl

This will remove the mysqltcl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mysqltcl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mysqltcl

Or similarly, like this mysqltcl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mysqltcl
