How To Uninstall mysqltuner On Debian 9

To uninstall mysqltuner just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mysqltuner

high-performance MySQL tuning scriptDebian 9.0database1.6.18-1
sudo apt-get remove mysqltuner

This will remove just the mysqltuner package itself.

Uninstall mysqltuner and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mysqltuner

This will remove the mysqltuner package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mysqltuner then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mysqltuner

Or similarly, like this mysqltuner

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mysqltuner
