How To Uninstall mz On Debian 9

To uninstall mz just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mz

versatile packet creation and network traffic generation toolDebian 9.0net0.40-1.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove mz

This will remove just the mz package itself.

Uninstall mz and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mz

This will remove the mz package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mz then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mz

Or similarly, like this mz

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mz
