How To Uninstall normalize-audio On Debian 9

To uninstall normalize-audio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just normalize-audio

adjusts the volume of WAV, MP3 and OGG files to a standard volume levelDebian 9.0sound0.7.7-14+b1
sudo apt-get remove normalize-audio

This will remove just the normalize-audio package itself.

Uninstall normalize-audio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove normalize-audio

This will remove the normalize-audio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for normalize-audio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge normalize-audio

Or similarly, like this normalize-audio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove normalize-audio
