How To Uninstall ocfs2-tools-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall ocfs2-tools-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ocfs2-tools-dev

tools for managing OCFS2 cluster filesystems - development filesDebian 9.0devel1.8.4-4
sudo apt-get remove ocfs2-tools-dev

This will remove just the ocfs2-tools-dev package itself.

Uninstall ocfs2-tools-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ocfs2-tools-dev

This will remove the ocfs2-tools-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ocfs2-tools-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ocfs2-tools-dev

Or similarly, like this ocfs2-tools-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ocfs2-tools-dev
