How To Uninstall oci-image-tool On Debian 9

To uninstall oci-image-tool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just oci-image-tool

linuxtool for working with OCI imagesdevel1.0.0~rc2+dfsg-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove oci-image-tool

This will remove just the oci-image-tool package itself.

Uninstall oci-image-tool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove oci-image-tool

This will remove the oci-image-tool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for oci-image-tool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge oci-image-tool

Or similarly, like this oci-image-tool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove oci-image-tool
