How To Uninstall octave-control On Debian 9

To uninstall octave-control just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just octave-control

linuxcomputer-aided control system design (CACSD) for Octavemath3.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove octave-control

This will remove just the octave-control package itself.

Uninstall octave-control and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-control

This will remove the octave-control package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for octave-control then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge octave-control

Or similarly, like this octave-control

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-control
