How To Uninstall octave-data-smoothing On Debian 9

To uninstall octave-data-smoothing just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just octave-data-smoothing

linuxfunctions to do data smoothing on noisy datamath1.3.0-4
sudo apt-get remove octave-data-smoothing

This will remove just the octave-data-smoothing package itself.

Uninstall octave-data-smoothing and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-data-smoothing

This will remove the octave-data-smoothing package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for octave-data-smoothing then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge octave-data-smoothing

Or similarly, like this octave-data-smoothing

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-data-smoothing
