How To Uninstall octave-linear-algebra On Debian 9

To uninstall octave-linear-algebra just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just octave-linear-algebra

linuxadditional linear-algebra functions for Octavemath2.2.2-2
sudo apt-get remove octave-linear-algebra

This will remove just the octave-linear-algebra package itself.

Uninstall octave-linear-algebra and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-linear-algebra

This will remove the octave-linear-algebra package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for octave-linear-algebra then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge octave-linear-algebra

Or similarly, like this octave-linear-algebra

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-linear-algebra
