How To Uninstall octave-missing-functions On Debian 9

To uninstall octave-missing-functions just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just octave-missing-functions

linuxfinds functions that are in Matlab but not in Octavemath1.0.2-5
sudo apt-get remove octave-missing-functions

This will remove just the octave-missing-functions package itself.

Uninstall octave-missing-functions and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-missing-functions

This will remove the octave-missing-functions package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for octave-missing-functions then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge octave-missing-functions

Or similarly, like this octave-missing-functions

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-missing-functions
