How To Uninstall octave-nan On Debian 9

To uninstall octave-nan just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just octave-nan

handles data with and without missing values in OctaveDebian 9.0math3.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove octave-nan

This will remove just the octave-nan package itself.

Uninstall octave-nan and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-nan

This will remove the octave-nan package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for octave-nan then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge octave-nan

Or similarly, like this octave-nan

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-nan
