How To Uninstall oggvideotools-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall oggvideotools-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just oggvideotools-dbg

toolbox for manipulating and creating Ogg video files (debug symbols)Debian 9.0debug0.9.1-3
sudo apt-get remove oggvideotools-dbg

This will remove just the oggvideotools-dbg package itself.

Uninstall oggvideotools-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove oggvideotools-dbg

This will remove the oggvideotools-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for oggvideotools-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge oggvideotools-dbg

Or similarly, like this oggvideotools-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove oggvideotools-dbg
