How To Uninstall okular On Debian 9

To uninstall okular just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just okular

universal document viewerDebian 9.0graphics4:16.08.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove okular

This will remove just the okular package itself.

Uninstall okular and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove okular

This will remove the okular package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for okular then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge okular

Or similarly, like this okular

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove okular
