How To Uninstall onboard On Debian 9

To uninstall onboard just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just onboard

linuxSimple On-screen Keyboardgnome1.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove onboard

This will remove just the onboard package itself.

Uninstall onboard and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove onboard

This will remove the onboard package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for onboard then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge onboard

Or similarly, like this onboard

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove onboard
