How To Uninstall open-jtalk On Debian 9

To uninstall open-jtalk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just open-jtalk

linuxJapanese text-to-speech systemsound1.07-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove open-jtalk

This will remove just the open-jtalk package itself.

Uninstall open-jtalk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove open-jtalk

This will remove the open-jtalk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for open-jtalk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge open-jtalk

Or similarly, like this open-jtalk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove open-jtalk
