How To Uninstall openafs-kpasswd On Debian 9

To uninstall openafs-kpasswd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openafs-kpasswd

AFS distributed filesystem old password changingDebian 9.0net1.6.20-2
sudo apt-get remove openafs-kpasswd

This will remove just the openafs-kpasswd package itself.

Uninstall openafs-kpasswd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openafs-kpasswd

This will remove the openafs-kpasswd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openafs-kpasswd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openafs-kpasswd

Or similarly, like this openafs-kpasswd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openafs-kpasswd
