How To Uninstall openalpr-daemon On Debian 9

To uninstall openalpr-daemon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openalpr-daemon

Daemon to run OpenALPR in the backgroundDebian 9.0video2.3.0-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove openalpr-daemon

This will remove just the openalpr-daemon package itself.

Uninstall openalpr-daemon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openalpr-daemon

This will remove the openalpr-daemon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openalpr-daemon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openalpr-daemon

Or similarly, like this openalpr-daemon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openalpr-daemon
