How To Uninstall openarena On Debian 9

To uninstall openarena just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openarena

fast-paced 3D first-person shooterDebian 9.0games0.8.8-17
sudo apt-get remove openarena

This will remove just the openarena package itself.

Uninstall openarena and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openarena

This will remove the openarena package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openarena then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openarena

Or similarly, like this openarena

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openarena
